Information Technology consulting and outsourcing have become a global business. Logimethods offers offshore application development and integration services via its Offshore Development Center for clients in Canada and the U.S.

How Does It Work?
Working onsite with its clients, Logimethods can sub-contract specific portions of projects to its Offshore Development Center. This model, known as the DUAL-SHORE model, combines the advantages of onsite and offshore services to deliver high-quality results to clients at reduced costs. It enables clients to directly interact with the service provider through the onsite team while getting the cost saving benefits of offshoring.
In a typical software development project using a dual-shore approach, a local team stationed onsite is responsible for program management and the portions of the project that requires interaction with the business subject matter experts and software architects onsite.
This includes project planning, requirements gathering, user-interface development, as well as architecture and high-level design. Under management from the onsite team, the Offshore Development Center typically does some or all of the coding, testing and bug fixing.
For well-defined projects for which requirements and specifications are well documented, most of the work can be done offshore.
